OH-58 SEF and FADEC Tracking
With the version of 1.0.19 of the Army Flight Logbook we made several additions for the OH-58 pilots. One of those being Single Engine Failures. The OH-58 pilots have to complete 2 of these per semiannual period. So when you’re logging your flights you are now able to choose SEF checkmark option.
You will be able to track your SEF completion total under the Semiannual Tab in your flight logbook. Once you do 2 SEF’s in your current semiannual period this block will turn green letting you know that you have completed your requirement.
The other addition that we have added to the Army Flightlogbook for OH-58 pilots is the FADEC currency. When you add a flight you’ll see the option for FADEC. When you check this block you are telling the program that you have completed a FADEC training on that day. Once logged you can go to your totals/currency page to find out when the last time you completed a FADEC and it will give you a future date when the currency will expire (it is set to 90 days).
